Kaspersky Activation Error

I have been personally using the Kaspersky Lab Antivirus since 2011 and never encountered any issue in terms of virus.  I even installed the Kaspersky Lab in my office and personal laptop as well.

You might get any one of the below error while trying to activate the Kaspersky:

Activation error. Untrusted server certificate – Kaspersky Lab

kaspersky activation error unable to connect to server

kaspersky internet security activation error

You have exceeded the maximum number of activations allowed for the entered activation code.

Let’s move forward and check out how to fix the error code Activation Error: Untrusted server certificate.

1st Solution: Check Licence Key

Once you have successfully installed the Kaspersky Antivirus on your system, then you will have to activate it online in order to keep it working.

After installation, the Kaspersky will prompt a window message where you will have to enter the LICENCE KEY that need to activate online and therefore you must have an internet connection.

Make sure that the LICENCE KEY that you have received from Kaspersky should be entered in the box as its mention. Please note that the KEYS are not case sensitive.

Do cross-check twice before clicking on Activate Button, once you are assured that the LICENCE key is correct then enter the code and click on Activate button, it should work !!

2nd Solution: Check and adjust Date and Time

If the above solution didn’t work out then make sure that date and time settings are correct.

  • Date, Month and Year settings can be checked at RIGHT-HAND SIDE of BOTTOM BAR.
  • Just click once on to the Time / Date, it will show a small pop-up button.
  • Now click on “Change Date and Time Settings” that will open “Date and Time” tab.
